Dua for Children and Parents from the Quran

We all know how important it is to make dua for ourselves, our children, our parents and the believers. Allah says in the Quran:
And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided. (Quran, 2:186)

Below are the duas from the Quran for children, parents and the believers. These are the duas of Prophets. Memorise them and use them daily for the full benefits.
"Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire." (Quran, 2:201)

When we make dua, ask for the dunya AND the akhira. This is an excellent dua for both.

"Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people." (Quran, 2:286)

This dua is for when we make mistakes without knowing it.

"My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while you are the best of inheritors." (Quran 21:89)

The home should be the place of refuge and comfort, 'the coolness of the eye' for each person in it. Make this dua for a peaceful and comforting home.

My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.
 (Quran, 14:40)

Salat is very important and it's one of the first things that we'll be asked about. Make this dua for self and descendants to be ones who pray.

"My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims." (Quran, 46:15)

Dua for both our parents and children.

"My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small." (Quran, 17:24)

Dua for parents for all the things they did for us when we were little. We can never repay them enough so make this dua for them.

"My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants." (Quran, 27:19)

This is the dua of Prophet Sulayman. Make this dua so you can always be grateful to Allah for His blessings on you and your parents.

My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction." (Quran, 71:28)
